India Post Office Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying for the Mail Motor Services Mumbai, candidates should check the age limit and education qualifications. Here are the eligibility criteria for the post of Skilled Artisans: 

Age Limit 

18 to 30 years old as of July 1, 2023, for UR/EWS [Relaxable 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), for Government Servants up to 35 years according to the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government, and for Ex-Servicemen up to a maximum of 3 years [08 (3 + 5) years for ST] after deducting the number of years they served in the military from their actual age. For relaxations under EWS, Ex-SM, SC, ST, and OBC, the appropriate certificate and caste certificate must be presented in the correct format when applying for a job with the Indian government.

Educational Qualifications: 

• A license in the trade from a government-approved technical school or a high school diploma and one year of training in the trade.

• If you want to be a Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), you should have a legal driving license to drive Heavy Vehicles.

Skilled Artisans will be chosen from those who have the right skills and a legal driver’s license [only for Mechanic (MV)] through a Competitive Trade Test. The qualified candidates will be told separately at their mail address about the test’s date, time, location, and subject matter.

9. The form is the certificate that people from other backward groups who are not in the “creamy layer” must show when they fill out Form-9 to apply for a job with the Indian government.

Candidates who want to be considered for reserved positions and/or get their age lowered must have the right certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC etc.) issued by a competent/notified authority (in the right format) on or before the closing date of the ad.
